Snowmobiling is a great way to get out and enjoy the scenery of Colorado's backcountry. There's a large number of snowmobile outfitters who provide rentals and guided tours. For enthusiasts who bring their own rides there are plenty of trailheads and approved riding areas in Colorado's National Forests.

Ice Skating

Get ready to to figure eight, sit spin or bust that toe loop you've been practicing! Ice skating is a favorite pastime in Colorado. There are a number of indoor rinks but visitors always prefer the abundance of outdoor rinks and frozen lakes operating in Front Range cities and many of the mountain towns and communities. Skate rentals, hot chocolate and hot toddies are provided rinkside for your enjoyment.

Cross Country Ski & Snow Shoeing

Cross Country Skiing and Snow Shoeing is great excersize and a wonderful way to see Colorado's back country! Colorado has 18 nordic centers which offer everything from flat trails to lift served parks with a variety of trails to match or challenge your skill level and desire for excersize. There are also many trailheads in local parks and National Parks across Colorado. Check out our list but always be sure to ask the local ski rental shop about trail conditions in thier area.
